FENCING THEMED EVENTS

Have you ever considered fencing as part of a corporate event or activity day, or for a private party, or even for a children's party? Radcliffe Sword Club has the skill and experience to make your event an occasion to remember.

Our Club arranged Nottingham’s successful ‘Light Night’ fencing presentations in Exchange Arcade in 2009, at Nottingham Castle in 2010-11 and in the Council House Ballroom in 2012, at which all fencing clubs in Nottingham were invited to demonstrate the three Olympic fencing weapons (foil, epee and sabre) and to run have-a-go mini-fence sessions for adults and children. We also appear at community events such as the West Bridgford Armed Forces Day, Rushcliffe's Rush4Health event and Clifton's Picnic in the Park, where we run have-a-go sessions for visitors. To keep up to date with our future event appearances visit our Facebook page and click the Like button.

We have also arranged one-off fencing themed events for stag/hen weekends, office groups, schools and corporate events.

In March 2011 we also contributed to Cotgrave Candleby Lane School's Olympic Sports Day, arranging a fencing session for year 4 pupils. For feedback and information on this event click here.

All equipment is provided, and all sessions are led by our qualified coaches.

For details of what you need to bring to a session please read our Joining Instructions.
